Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They inspect services providing education and skills for learners of all ages. Ofsted reports directly to Parliament and is both independent and impartial. By law it must inspect schools with the aim of providing information to parents, to promote improvement and to hold schools to account. Our most recent inspection reports can be found below.

Surrey Healthy Schools

Surrey Healthy Schools is a joint project between Education and Health services across the county.

Healthy Schools in Surrey is an opportunity for schools to actively promote the health and wellbeing of the whole-school community. It is a commitment to promoting personal, social and health development and support the links between health, behaviour and achievement. It is not aimed merely at pupils’ health or school curriculum development but centres around the whole school.

Witley Infant School has achieved the Surrey Healthy Schools Bronze Award, as of March 2018. This award is valid for 3 years. We are currently looking into applying for the Surrey Healthy Schools Silver Award. In order to achieve this, we will need to hold and maintain the Surrey Healthy School Bronze Award, engage in a Healthy Schools project and submit a planning template, outlining the intended outcomes of the project. We aim to use the Wild Garden/Forest School project in our application.
